Terms of Service
Last updated: June 23, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, marketplace, and events operated by Tai Tat Dei (“Tai Tat Dei,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at taitatdei.ca and our in-person market events in the Greater Toronto Area. By creating an account, registering for an event, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your province, you may only use our services with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent or abusive conduct.
3. Marketplace, Vendors & Orders
Tai Tat Dei operates an online marketplace that allows independent vendors to list and sell products. Vendors are independently responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality and legality of their products, fulfillment, and compliance with applicable consumer protection and product safety laws. Tai Tat Dei is not a party to the contract of sale between you and a vendor and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any vendor's products.
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By placing an order, you authorize the applicable charge to your selected payment method. Prices, availability, and order policies (including refunds and cancellations) are set by individual vendors unless otherwise stated at checkout.
4. Events & Waivers
Some events require registration and may require you to read and accept a liability waiver before attending. Waiver terms are presented at the time of registration and form part of your agreement with us for that event. Event details, capacity, and schedules may change; we will make reasonable efforts to notify registrants of material changes.
5. Event Changes & Force Majeure
Tai Tat Dei reserves the right to cancel, postpone, modify, or relocate events due to weather, public health concerns, government orders, emergencies, venue issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Refund policies for event fees will be communicated at the time of registration.
6. Age Restriction for Events
Certain events may have age restrictions or additional requirements. Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet applicable eligibility requirements.
7. Assumption of Risk
Participants attend events at their own risk. Tai Tat Dei is not responsible for injuries, accidents, theft, loss of property, or damages occurring during participation in any event, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
8. Acceptable Use

- Use the services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
